Delete your data

Fyreside stores data only for as long as it serves you. This page explains the three ways to have it removed.

1. Disconnect a specific service

If you connected Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or Google to Fyreside and you want to revoke that specific connection — without closing your whole account — the fastest path is from inside the product:

  1. Sign in to fyreside.in.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Social.
  3. Open the channel you want to disconnect and click Disconnect.

When you disconnect, the access token is deleted from our database within seconds and the linked data (profile info, post cache, follower count) is purged within 7 days. You can also revoke the app's permission on the provider's side:

2. Delete your whole account

If you want to close your Fyreside account and have us remove everything:

  1. Email privacy@fyreside.in from the email address registered on your account.
  2. Include your Fyreside slug (e.g. yourname from yourname.fyreside.in) in the subject or body.
  3. We'll reply within 2 business days to confirm, then delete your account, content, subscriber data, and all connected-service tokens within 7 days.

Some records we're legally required to retain — payment and invoice data for 7 years under Indian tax law — will remain in cold storage only, inaccessible from any product surface.

3. Meta-specific data deletion (Facebook / Instagram)

If you revoke Fyreside's permission from inside Facebook or Instagram (without otherwise contacting us), Meta will send us a signed deletion callback. On receipt:

Grievance Officer

If you're unhappy with our handling of a deletion request, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer under the DPDP Act, 2023:
